Make sure to keep your receipts—I provide them for every session—because they could help reduce your tax burden when filing your return. Many of my clients are surprised to learn that the cost of therapy can not only support their wellbeing but also offer a financial benefit at tax time.

To make your first appointment as smooth as possible, I recommend checking with your insurance provider ahead of time to confirm your psychological coverage. Whether your plan is through your employer or purchased personally, it helps to know what’s covered.

If your plan doesn’t allow for direct billing, no problem—I'll provide a detailed receipt so you can submit it for reimbursement.
