I'm a Registered Psychologist with over 15 years of experience specializing in trauma recovery and PTSD treatment. My approach is grounded in evidence-based therapies like Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I'm an Approved CPT Provider, a Certified PE Therapist, and an EMDR Certified Therapist and Consultant in Training—credentials I use to offer effective, focused treatment that helps clients move forward.
I take a non-pathologizing, client-centred approach. That means creating a space where you're not just another case or diagnosis—you're a person navigating something difficult, and you're not alone in it. I work with people healing from PTSD, vicarious trauma, anxiety, depression, burnout, relationship challenges, and dissociative disorders. I also have extensive experience supporting recovery from military service-related trauma, childhood trauma, sexual abuse, and working with sexual and gender minorities.
Since 2011, I’ve operated a successful private practice while also working full-time for over a decade at the University of Alberta’s Counselling and Clinical Services, providing both in-person and remote therapy. I’m an approved provider for Telus Health, Veterans Affairs, the Canadian Forces, Workers’ Compensation Board, and several other programs.
Whether you’re a first responder, veteran, healthcare provider, or someone coping with the weight of a disability claim, I offer short-term, goal-oriented therapy that’s designed to make a lasting difference.
